About Us
Hi! We are a music-filled, adventure-seeking family of four (five if you count our cat, Whitney)! We love exploring the world and teaching our boys about music, life, & about God. We want to share our experiences with you! We are so glad you stopped by – we hope you will follow us along our journeys & learn along with us!
Krysten likes clearance shopping, leggings, lularoe, garage sales, coffee, sushi, and unique foods.
She loves adventures, planning road trips, and eating at new restaurants (especially Thai). She is a huge fan of Christian bands from the 90’s and 00’s especially Bleach, Newsboys, DC Talk, Jars of Clay, etc., and has played piano since kindergarten.
Krysten enjoys reading when she can! She tends to enjoy survival stories, her favorite being the story of Earnest Shackleton. Along with reading books she keeps up with several blogs and vloggers.
Krysten enjoys all things creative, is an achiever, and her brain never turns off, it seems! If only she could clone herself to do all the things she would love to do!
Krysten grew up in small country church where she plays music. She loves getting together with family and sharing life with them.
Philip enjoys all things Star Wars. He is a Jedi through and through. He can quote most of the films through line-by-line, and can recite a smattering of other films as well, which is amusing on long road trips! He also enjoys video games and movies.
Philip took piano lessons all through school, and learned how to use his sense of pitch to play by ear and arrange songs for piano & other instruments. He enjoys film score, video game music, Barry Manilow, and jazz, especially standards and big band/swing. He helps also to lead worship at church and plays bass guitar.
Philip has had a strong Biblical upbringing. He loves having deep, theological discussions with whoever will sit and talk. He always tries to use metaphors & object lessons to teach spiritual truths from a Christian perspective. Don’t be surprised when Star Wars comes into the discussion!
KC is currently three years old. He loves everything trucks and construction! He can tell you all about different types of trucks and tractors. His favorite play activities are digging in sand or dirt (even if Philip tells him not too!), reading truck books, playing with light-up toys in the dark, and most recently, singing!
RA is one year old. This little cutie-bug is bursting with personality! He is has been using some words. He likes to play also, especially with big brother. He is an explorer, too, so we do need to keep an eye on him! Sometimes KC gets a little overzealous in trying to be be brother and take care of RA, but they love other!
